This home study course provides 1.5 CE credits and is the first step into becoming a Guide of The Odyssey Approach®. The rising rates of provider burnout and client dropout are examined and the elements of The Odyssey Approach® are explored as solutions for these ongoing issues in the mental health industry. Participants will learn the foundations and elements of The Odyssey Approach and the detailed requirements of the Guide credentialing process, along with how those requirements are linked to evidence-based research on reducing provider burnout. Once you've completed this course, you are able to unlock the remaining steps to your credentialing process (i.e., schedule live consultation sessions, complete your Voyager Experience, obtain your Atlas, etc.). You'll receive 1.5 CE credits after completing this course. Note: THIS COURSE CONTAINS THE SAME MATERIAL AS THE CONTINUING EDUCATION HOME STUDY with the addition of materials needed for your Guide Credential including three individual Voyager sessions. The total cost for the base credential is $1,800 of which $800 is covered through this course. The remaining amounts are in the three required consultation sessions ($250 each) and required materials ($250 total).
